Growing Strawberries On Patio, the best combination to have the longest period of fresh strawberries is:

Strawberry Christine - Christine is an early variety, cropping outside from the first week in June, and from mid-May under cover. The fruit is large, firm and extremely juicy and sweet! They do not bruise easily Christine strawberries are easy to grow and have good pest and disease resistance.

Strawberry Alice Strawberry Alice has been bred to have the very best of everything its fruits are large, firm and juicy, and have a flavour that is indescribably delicious! The Strawberry Alice plants are vigorous and show good resistance to Verticillium Wilt and Crown Rot. The perfect choice if you only have room for one variety, as it is trouble free and easy to pick. Alice is one of the best mid season varieties.
