FIFA History for Football Player Agents
Jun 4th, 2009 by Lucy Katts

FIFA is a Federation Internationale de Football Association that oversees the worldwide game. This association was first introduced in the year 1904 and its first leader was Robert Guerin. Previously, the European countries were playing under the Federation Internationale de Football Association, but after a couple of years, the non Euro countries also started participating in football for playing it internationally. Football was introduced in Olympics in London in the year 1908, but the first ever FIFA World Cup Tournament was played in the year 1930. The headquarters of the Federation Internationale de Football Association are located in Zurich, Switzerland.

Effect of First World War on FIFA
During the First World War, most of the national associations quitted the Federation Internationale de Football Association. With the death of Daniel Burley Woolfall, FIFA was expected to disintegrate within a few months. However, with the end of wars, the different nations united again and joined hands to make football popular among the youth, but the United Kingdom still denied to link with the world war enemies. Gradually, the national association members started increasing and currently, the Federation Internationale de Football Association integrates 208 members in all. The superlative body of FIFA is the FIFA congress that includes football player agents and other representatives, as well.  Some FIFA members also runs football tours and a football academy for young upcoming players.

Awards and Honors
FIFA is played after every four years and the title of FIFA World Player of the year is granted to the most prominent player. In addition to this, “FIFA World Cup All Time Team” and “FIFA Dream Team” are also announced to give honors to the prestigious players. FIFA also includes an anthem, which was composed by Franz Lambert. This anthem is played at the beginning of the matches like FIFA World Cup, FIFA Women’s World Cup and many others.

Why is it So Hard for Him to Shop For Groomsmen Gifts?
Jun 4th, 2009 by Lucy Katts

I think I’m going to share a story with you. It is not particularly interesting. But I’m going to share it anyways so that others might benefit from my mistake. I got engaged over a year ago. I thought he was a dream man. We get along wonderfully, he treats me very well, and my parents even like him. After I accepted his proposal is when things start going somewhat wrong. You see, when the wedding was being planned, as I noticed he does not have any friends. I asked him what kind of cheap groomsmen gift ideas he will be buying them. He gave me some quick answer but I do not believe. As I dove deeper into this topic I realized the reason that he does not been friends is because he is antisocial.

After I confronted him with it I asked him why is it so hard for you to shop for wedding gifts for wedding party. He kept telling me that he would take care of his monogrammed groomsmen gifts, ring bearer gifts, and all the other wedding party gifts himself. As I have my hands full with my bridesmaids, my maid of honor, and all of the other females my wedding. I decided to let the issue go and live take care of it. It turned out to be a huge mistake.

About 10 days before wedding I casually asked him how other cheap groomsmen gifts and cheap wedding party gifts coming along. To my utter dismay, he said he has not done anything about it. And that he was not going to. He thinks it is a woman’s job to handle everything that a man has to do. I was not raised that way. I talked to a few good friends about it was my mother, and we have since called off the wedding. So please, do not make the same wedding mistake as I did. Maybe a husband buys his group gives way ahead of time.

The Canon Eos 5d Camera for perfect pictures
Jun 4th, 2009 by Lucy Katts

The Canon EOS 5D camera is an exquisite piece of engineering and design, coming together to take the perfect high-resolution image or picture. The Canon EOS 5D body is notable for its abundance of features and compact size.

This top class digital camera for the advanced SLR photographer finally comes of age. Digital SLR enthusiasts have been waiting a long time for a digital SLR body that functions comparably to the 35mm SLR bodies of five years ago. The Canon EOS (Electro-Optical System) auto focus 35 mm film and digital SLR camera system was introduced in 1987 with the Canon EOS 650 and is still in production as Canon’s current dslr system. These dslr’s had a Canon EOS body and thus can accept EF lenses, while the image sensor and electronics were designed and built by Kodak.

Unlike most other digital SLR manufacturers, Canon dslr’s are equipped with a CMOS sensor (with the exception of EOS-1D that uses a CCD sensor). Its latest digital SLR the Canon Eos 5d is a camera for advanced amateurs and semi-professionals alike.

As the world’s smallest and lightest full-frame digital SLR, the EOS 5D model features Canon’s proprietary DIGIC II Image Processor, which allows users to shoot up to 3 frames per second and record up to 60 full-resolution JPEGs and 17 RAW images in a single burst. The heart of the Canon EOS 5D camera is its extraordinary new, Canon-designed and manufactured CMOS image sensor.

The Canon EOS 5D body has a new nine point AF system with six Supplemental AF points, a new AF algorithm and a new AF circuitry. Thanks to Canon design and manufacturing know-how and having the low-pass filter integrated with the CMOS cover glass, the EOS 5D digital SLR is unusually streamlined for a camera with a full-frame sensor.

The EOS 5D has a newly developed, high-speed and highly durable shutter unit that was designed to meet the demanding requirements of a full-frame sensor in a relatively compact body. A premium DSLR with outstanding image quality combining the high-end specifications of the EOS-1 Line and the operational ease of the EOS 20D models, the new Canon EOS 5D digital SLR is a premium digital SLR designed for a wide range of photographers.

All in all the Canon EOS 5D replacement is an excellent purchase, it is quite an improvement on it’s predecessor the Canon Eos 5d 12.8 mp digital slr camera and will provide you with professional picture taking for years to come, provided you maintain and care for it. Make sure your Canon EOS 5D camera is always charged and ready to use when that perfect picture arrives.

Nikon D5000 - Does it live up to the promises?
Jun 4th, 2009 by Lucy Katts

The recently launched Nikon D5000 camera is certainly causing a stir in the entry level SLR market. The camera is positioned to occupy the territory between the modestly specified Nikon D60 and the much more expensive Nikon D90. A Nikon SLR first is the addition of a 2.7 inch swivel screen, which provides the flexibility to perfectly position for all those difficult and awkward shots. Budding movie makers are truly spoilt with the ability to record movies at a blistering 1280X720 pixel resolution which is equivalent to the high-definition standard of 720p. At this resolution you can capture a full 5 mins or reduce the resolution for a 20 minute stint. When you’re ready to view your pictures or video on your HD widescreen monster in the living room, go ahead and plug into the HDMI slot and view your art in high resolution.

How easy is this camera to use? I would say it’s no more complicated than your basic SLR. Some of the features like the live view are not as good as you’d expect with this brand, but this is more than compensated for by the great autofocus and decent viewfinder. The feel of the camera is very solid and quite similar to the D90.

The picture quality is very good at the full range of ISO values. The sharp 12.9 megapixel sensor does not disappoint and provides as a good result as some of the much more expensive models on the market. Irrespective of lighting conditions you can expect outstanding pictures from this camera, time after time. With the now standard capability of being able to save in RAW format, you have the ultimate flexibility in processing your images to provide the optimum output.

This is a good entry level SLR that will meet the needs of the most demanding semi-professional user. With an abundance of gadgets and features it will appeal to a large cross-section of the camera buying public. The Nikon D5000 camera very much delivers on the promise and is great buy with some outstanding features. A strong recommendation from the me.
