Jul 10th, 2009 by Lucy Katts

There are so many success stories you will hear about businesses making it good in the internet. You’ve probably read about project payday, project payday articles and other earn money online formulas but traffic is the key regardless… The troubling thing is, there are maybe a tenfold or even a hundredfold of stories contradictory to theirs. Many have unsuccessfully launched a business enterprise that is internet based but only a handful shall succeed.

Establishing your own E-commerce site is not like what it used to be. You’ve probably read Aweber reviews, project payday articles and other make money online formulas but traffic is the key regardless… There are thousands of competition that is all too willing to get a bigger share of the pie. Every scheme and method you can find to augment your sales would be very beneficial. We have got to admit to ourselves. Most of us are into it for the money. We are not going to waste our time and effort just for the fun of it. Many sites would not wait until hell freezes over just to see their profits. While there are some who takes things lightly there are always those who would rather see profit any given day.

Like Neo, traffic is “The One”. Without traffic, all your effort would just go to waste. Every business needs customers, without them you wouldn’t have anyone to sell your products to. In the internet world traffic is the walk in customer. The more traffic you have the more people would be able to sell your products to.

While there are ways to jumpstart your traffic flows, many sites don’t have the resources that others have to generate more traffic for your site. Well, you don’t have to spend a cent; all you need is the proper mindset and a lot of eagerness. You also must have the drive and perseverance to do hard work and research to generate more traffic for your site.

How sweet it is to have more traffic for your site without spending a single cent. Now it’s a sure thing that many sites have articles that offer tips and guidelines in how to generate traffic using only free methods. Because it is possible, you don’t need to speed a single cent, it may take time, to say honestly, I’m not going to beat around the bush with you. You get better chances by paying for your advertisements, but at least you get a fighting chance with some of these free methods I’m about to tell you.

The search and will be the easiest and fastest medium in finding what a person needs in the internet. Search engines have been very popular because they provide a vital service to many people. They are free and easy to use. With this popularity, they get many visitors and clicks that they are the most common sites that people go to. It is easy to understand why so many companies would pay to advertise with these search engines.

Choosing a Merchant Account
Jul 10th, 2009 by Lucy Katts

For anyone doing business on the internet, a merchant account which allows you to accept various forms of payment for purchases is an absolute must. There are many companies you can choose from to provide merchant services, so how can you go about selecting the best one for your needs? There are many reasons to free up your cash just in case you want to go on a holiday or something along those lines. Take a look at these considerations before you make a decision.

To Use a Bank or Not to Use a Bank

Certainly it can be assumed that you have a relationship for your personal banking needs already in place, perhaps an institution you rely on for your chequing and savings account needs. So is there a reason to look any further when it comes to finding a company to provide merchant account services? When you are making money, there is really no advantage to using your personal bank for your business merchant account. In fact, it could be a detriment. Traditional banks are simply not prepared to compete in the world of e-commerce and generally do not provide the same cutting-edge technology as companies that specialise in this area do. In addition, merchant services will be outsourced, so why not go to the source in the first place and cut out the middle man?

Do Your Research

The last thing you want is to select a merchant account provider and receive less than acceptable customer service. So do your research. Perform an internet search and determine if the company you are considering has a track record of lots of complaints and unsatisfactory resolutions. They should also stand behind the integrity of their equipment, if applicable. Consider the company’s terms. Do they guarantee your satisfaction? What will happen if you go out of business before the end of the contract term? Do they guarantee their rates will remain the same or decrease over time? Another thing to think about is the options for technical support. If you provide 24-hour service to your customers, so should your merchant account company. If they are unable to help you when you need it, it could cost quite a bit of money in the long run in terms of losing customers and word of mouth negative publicity.

Rate Comparison

This is perhaps one of the most important features to any merchant account. To benefit best from your business profit systems, check into the rate structure thoroughly. Just because one company has very low initial per-transaction rates does not always mean it is the best choice. Additional and exorbitant charges might be lurking in the fine print. They may also charge setup, application, or annual membership fees. The best choice will be to go with a merchant account services company that can offer a competitive rate structure and a promise to decrease the fees based on history and increased account volume. There should be no cap on monthly volume in order to gain the best discounts. Leasing the equipment is usually not a good idea. If there is particular hardware required, consider buying it outright as lease terms are generally not favourable to the lessee and cost a lot over the life of the contract. Providing payment options to your customers is an important part of doing business online. Consider your selection of merchant account providers carefully so that you are not committed to an unsatisfactory relationship with a company that is does not provide excellent service.

Tilapia - An Underestimated Fish
Jul 10th, 2009 by Lucy Katts

Tilapia may be considered as poor mans tuna in some parts of the world, but there are tilapia recipes that will tickle your taste buds just as much as any other fancy fish recipes. Once you have cleaned the fish, taken out the scales, fins, gills and gut, that is, it is prepared for the pot. The first thing to do is to make diagonal scores right up to the back bone of the fish, on both sides. Then rub into the cuts and all over the fish a spicy paste of lemon juice, chili powder, turmeric and salt. Let it sit for a while. Lightly fry the fish in a shallow pan, using just a small amount of oil. Coconut oil will be excellent. Remove the fish and set aside. In another pan, heat a small amount of oil ( the oil you used to fry the fish in), and when the oil is hot throw in a few curry leaves, a small amount of mustard seeds, a few fenugreek seeds. When they begin to splutter, rather ferociously, let me warn you, throw in a handful of sliced onions. Shallots would be best. When the onions are soft, add a cup or so of tamarind extract that is spiced up with chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric and salt. You may add a couple of tomatoes that are quartered. When the liquid comes to a boil, reduce heat and add the marinated fish. The liquid should be enough to cover the fish and then some. If you want to add a touch of class to this simple tilapia recipe, you may add a small amount of ground coconut. When the fish is cooked, enjoy the curry with rice! There are also many other fish recipes that you can prepare.
