This hundred square miles is a cheapCarribbean setting for a relaxing vacation if you want to go somewhere where it’s very similar, yet very different.

Cayman Islands are 3 islands that are surrounded by ocean on all sides. The beaches are known to be beautiful. The snorkeling and other water activities are abundant and enjoyed by locals and tourists. You will find an affordable place to stay on any of the islands. One of the well-known beaches is Seven Mile Beach with its white sand beach and gorgeous palms. You’ll find an abundance of animal life on the beach as well as in the surf. Exploring can prove some of the most relaxing ways to learn and who says you can’t learn on your vacation.

Into the Water

Snorkeling and scuba diving are only two ways to enjoy the clear ocean water that surrounds the 3 islands of the Cayman Islands. You will need to set aside some time if you need to earn your cert before you can really enjoy these activities, but even certification courses can be enjoyable here. There are quite a few other activities that you can take part in including windsurfing. You will actually find better windsurfing weather during the winter months when traveling is less expensive. There’s also surfing in some places as well as quite a few boating options.

Cruises

Ready to get away from your get-away and experience something like nothing else? Then consider booking a cruise. You will find many options and many different vessels to choose from. They range from day cruises, sunset cruises and dinner cruises. You can even take a cruise on a replica 19th tall ship made to resemble a pirate ship.

More Tropical but Definitely Westernized

This three island British territory is strikingly similar to the US, culturally. The dollar is common in nearly all types of transactions. English is a common language, so you don’t need to be concerned about your fun being hampered by communication difficulties or currency problems. You will find that it’s very much like a slower version of home. The relaxed atmosphere is apparent also from tourist services to everyday life for many. The largest city, George Town, will have every amenity that you’ve grown to enjoy here in the States and don’t want to do without during your time away.

Expedia can get you into George Town, so you won’t have any trouble getting there and back. The Cayman Islands are one of the best vacation spots for your next trip.

Skin care cosmetic – Useful or harmful?
Jul 24th, 2009 by Lucy Katts

A beautiful and healthy skin is a big confidence booster. Some people are naturally beautiful and hence don’t use any skin care cosmetic. Then there are others, who don’t use skin care cosmetic due to their laziness. Still some feel that skin care cosmetic can harm their skin, and hence abandon the use of any kind of skin care cosmetic. However, there are a large number of people who do use skin care cosmetic (that’s why the business of skin care cosmetic is prospering).

So, is skin care cosmetic useful, or is it harmful? Well, the opinions seem divided. However, one thing is for sure - Looking beautiful is surely nice and very desirable. Also, too much skin care cosmetic can surely be harmful (as such, excess of anything is harmful). So, what does one do?

The first thing is to formulate (and follow) a skin care routine that will help keep your skin healthy and disease-free. The general recommendation is to cleanse and moisturise everyday, and tone and exfoliate occasionally (as and when needed).

Next thing is the skin care cosmetics that you would be using additionally (as beauty enhancers). These skin care cosmetics could either be part of your skin care routine or be applied only on special occasions (e.g. when attending a party etc).

The most important thing with skin care cosmetic is its selection. Here is a set of rules that you should use when selecting any skin care cosmetic:

* The general rule is to use products that suit your skin type. This is true both for the routine products and for the skin care cosmetic. So check the label to see what it says e.g. “for dry skin only” or “for all skin types” etc.

* Test the skin care cosmetic before using it. This can be done by applying the skin care cosmetic on a small patch of skin e.g. ear lobes and checking the reaction of your skin to the product

* Check the ingredients of the skin care cosmetic for chemicals that you are allergic to. Do not use products that are very harsh on skin e.g. products with high alcohol concentrations; such cosmetics might work for once but cause a long-lasting damage to your skin.

* More isn’t better. Ensure that you apply the products in right quantity (neither less not more). Also, be gentle with your skin and follow the right procedures for application of skin care products. Rubbing too hard or trying to squeeze a pimple can lead to permanent damage to your skin.

* Finally, if you have a skin disorder e.g. acne or even first glimpses of skin cancer etc, you should consult your dermatologist before using any skin care cosmetic.

How to Lose Weight the Natural Way
Jul 24th, 2009 by Lucy Katts

The nuts and bolts of eating right maintaining a healthy weight is not all that complicated. There are several weight loss programs that one can enter into. In fact, it is a good bet that most people know pretty well what is best. Hence, losing weight the natural way should not be a problem at all.

Consequently, a reasonable approach for losing weight naturally is to stick to a diet that is high in complex carbohydrates, high in fiber, moderate in protein, and low in fat.

A complex carbohydrate is a baked potato. Fat is the sour cream and butter you should not put on it. Fiber is vegetables. Fat is the oil you should not fry them in. Protein is a lean cut of meat. Fat is the gravy you should not pour over it. Countless of information about these kinds of diet is readily available over the internet along with health fitness articles.

Moreover, health experts say that dietary fat promotes weight gain because it is a very dense source of calories. Also, when you consume too much calories from dietary fat, you store those calories as body fat more efficiently than excess calories from other sources.

On the other hand, it can also help you lose weight naturally if you will not fall into the so-called “fat-free” trap. Manufacturers keep coming out with low-fat or fat-free versions of their best-selling foods, but Americans keep getting fatter anyway.

One of the greatest delusions of the 1990s is that “no fat” means “non-fattening.” The fact is, you are often getting just as many calories from the no-fat version, even if the calories are not coming from fat.

The term fat-free on some article health and fitness can be a trap if you start to believe that you can eat any amount of the foods that are advertised that way.

What’s more, it is best to respond to hunger with healthful snacks. Health experts say it would be better to try eating every three to four hours, which may mean a nutritious low-fat snack between lunch and dinner.

When you feel the urge for food coming on, snacking on something healthy such as a slice of whole-grain toasted bread is a better alternative. Never skip a meal and eat snacks instead because that is the worst thing you can do if you are trying to control your eating habits and weight.

Remember, if you want to lose weight naturally, you have to keep track of every food you eat and of every activity that you do. When you say natural weight loss means that you do not have to use some accessories or helpful aids just to lose weight.

Losing weight naturally is a process and not a fad. Hence, it would take a lot of dogged determination, self-control, and discipline just to achieve your ideal weight.
