How I am keeping my Financial Privacy
Feb 24th, 2010 by Lucy Katts

I recently came accross an article about financial privacy and I have been shocked how much the government, credit rating agencies and even normal companies know about my finances. Not only do they collect literally everything about my personal finances but they also exchange the information among eachother… everything of course without my acknowledge.

Shocked by this discovery I decided to look into ways to achieve total financial privacy and to open an offshore bank account. I came accross Stateside Finance a website dedicated to provide Offshore services to Individuals and Companies. They offer account opening assistance for Personal Offshore Bank Accounts with total Financial Provacy; exactly what I was looking for.

The registration form was very simple and a few minutes after I signed up Stateside Finance has been in touch with me to go through the account opening process and the necessary documents I needed to provide.

A few days later I received my new offshore bank account details and started immediately to transfer funds into the safe harbor of an offshore tax haven. To my surprise fees and charges at the Offshore Bank were only slightly higher than with my ex-bank. The service is even better with my offshore bank and I have all the features I had with my old bank like credit and debit cards and online banking and telephone service 24 hours a day.

My new offshore bank does not report to any international credit rating agency or government or any other instution which makes me sleep so much so much better.

Secure Document Destruction
Feb 24th, 2010 by Lucy Katts

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act addresses the destruction of business records and documents and turns intentional document destruction into a process that must be carefully monitored.

Nonprofit organizations should have a written, mandatory document retention and periodic destruction policy. Policies such as this will eliminate accidental or innocent destruction. In addition, it is important for administrative personnel to know the length of time records should be retained to be in compliance.

Secure document destruction are offered by many companies, there is no risk of your material ending up in the hands of an unknown third-party.  Strictly following National Association for Information Destruction guidelines, we keep the chain-of-custody limited to you, Document Destruction and Recycling Services (DDRS), and the paper-pulping mill where your shredded material is ultimately pulped and recycled into new paper toweling products.

If you’re looking for a company offering this king of service, then Paper Recovery Service Corporation is what you’re looking for. In their recycling center, they also offer buying aluminum cans and scrap metals like Aluminum, brass, steel, electric motors, copper, batteries and wires aside from paper products.

Outsourcing your shredding not only reduces the risk of a security breach, it also saves you time and money in the following ways:  1) You’ll spend less time doing non-core tasks which allows you more time to focus on business critical tasks like customer service and growing your business.  2) It eliminates shredder replacement and maintenance costs.  3) Large records purges take us only minutes to shred instead of taking you several days.  4) No sorting or document preparation is necessary.  5) You can combine two processes (shredding and recycling office paper) into one by simply placing your documents into our secure containers.  Aren’t you tired of the mess office paper shredders make?  Make the right choice – outsource – and let us handle your day-to-day shredding needs!

Design a Website for You Real Estate Business
Feb 24th, 2010 by Lucy Katts

As an investor, if you don’t have the right solution, it can be difficult to get enough motivated seller leads. Even with the bailout actions of the government, property values continue to fall and competition is making it challenging for investors.

With thousands of layoffs being announced and a dismal economic forecast locating motivated sellers is like taking candy from a baby. There really isn’t. How do you find them though?

One of the best ways I’ve found to locate motivated sellers is on the internet. If you look around even a little you’ll find plenty of services offering motivate seller lead lists. What I’m intimating is a website that an investor controls and owns. Summarily, a solution owned by you that generates leads of motivated sellers.

So how do you go about implementing such a solution? It starts with a professional-looking website. It should show you as a serious business owner with the means and capital to solve the motivated seller’s problem. It should show that you’ve solved the problems of other motivated sellers recently. It should be convincing enough that your visitors will want to work with you and make contact with you. It should have a way for them to send their contact information and property details to you.

Starting with the professional website you can either design it yourself or pay someone else to do it. Or you could substitute a template that you’ve customized. You’ll discover that even buying a template necessitates some HTML knowledge. Hiring it out will certainly require capital. Your time is important and you should decide what it’s worth. Is your time worth $20 an hour to make it yourself? Do you have time on your hands and not much money?

Happy customer testimonials should be littered throughout. Use your offline credibility kit and migrate it to an online fashion. If you don’t have actual numbers and real quotes get them. You may also want to put some streaming audio testimonials. There is nothing more convincing than a satisfied customer.

Use convincing sales copy to prod your visitors to complete your online forms. You’ll find that Dan Kennedy is a great resource to use when constructing your copy. He’s a true pro when it comes to writing copy. Buy his book, The Ultimate Sales Letter, and go through it thoroughly. Each page should include a compelling call to action.

The finishing step is to liberally sprinkle lead generators throughout the site. These are forms online that your visitors fill out. Use the form fields to acquire the visitor’s property details and contact information. This portion requires some database programming that will attach to the fields on the form and store the data.

The final step is driving targeted visitors to your site. A great way to do this is to advertise using Yahoo Search Marketing. This can be accomplished with paid advertising or SEO to gain top rankings. You may find you’ll need to change up your copy a bit after you start getting visitors. If you’re not getting as many leads as you would expect simply tweak your copy and/or rearrange the layout and test. Squeeze pages and landing pages offer a great way to get a great conversion rate.

With a quality website and the use of paid listings and strategic SEO you’ll be gathering motivated sellers and doing more profitable deals.
